The Bella BCD will hug your body and increase your equipment-based comfort like you've never experienced before. Its contoured hip indents will free you from that "digging in" feeling that is so common while wearing BCDs that were designed for men and the new shoulder cut make donning and doffing easier. The padded backpack and soft neoprene neck mean no more points of pressure and uncomfortable sore spots due to gear that rubs you wrong.
Don't worry - the Bella BCD isn't just about comfort; it is also about function. The zippered cargo pockets and conveniently located D-rings will allow you to easily stow and located your gear and any goodies you find along the way. In addition, the Scubapro exclusive wraparound air bladder will allow you to remain streamlined and in control because, unlike most other air bladders, it doesn't stick like wings out when inflated; instead, it continues to hug you and retain its cradle-like shape, even when fully inflated. The Bella has a 5-point deflation system, which includes 3 dump valves; no matter your position or hand preference, you can easily, quickly, and safely dump air whenever necessary.
One-hand operation stainless steel cam action super-cinch tank band allows easy adjustment and security. Bella has 6 stainless D-rings for attachment of accessories. Scubapro's quick-release integrated weight system allows perfect buoyancy and fast weight release in the event of an emergency. Pouches accommodate 10 lbs. (4.54 kg) each and are secured in specially-designed pockets with oversized buckles. Two rear trim pockets counterbalance front weights and provide a well-balanced swimming position with 8 lbs. to 10 lbs. (3.6 kg to 4.54 kg) capacity. The Bella has a flexible cummerbund with sturdy plastic quick-release buckle that immediately adapts to different body types (morphologies) and suit thickness on the spot.
The Bella air-cell is manufactured from durable 420D Nylon with a Polyurethane Coating for air tight integrity. BCD is available in multiple sizes with lift capacities from 22.5 lbs. (10.2 kg) to 42.7 lbs. (19.4 kg) and now has great bold graphics.
The Bella comes equipped with Scubapro's AIR2 Breathable Inflator. When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was buoyancy control. Once you start diving for fun you use your buoyancy control devise constantly throughout the dive. Your octopus or alternate air source device on the other hand is never used unless there is an emergency out-of-air-situation. Reacting properly in an out of air situation can make the difference between an eventful dive and a tragedy. If your alternate air source and your BCD inflator device are one and the same, you will always know where to find it in an emergency. The 5th generation of the Air 2 by Scubapro is a second stage regulator and balanced inflator in a single, compact housing. The Air 2 - 5th Generation builds upon an already superior product. It is lightweight, streamline, and eliminates the need for a backup-regulator. The Air 2's air-balanced power inflator valve means you'll have a steady stream of air, regardless of the pressure in your tank. The Air 2 - 5th Generation leaves you breathing- easy throughout your dives. The Air 2 has a fixed Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) flow vane for safe and uncomplicated use now has a dive/pre-dive switch. This switch allows the regulator mechanism to be set more like that of a standard second stage regulator. The Air 2 - 5th Generation breathes like a dream, rivalling some primary second stage models. It is CE-certified for waters 50°F (10°C) or warmer.
The Air 2 provides one-hand operation for instinctive and simple operation the self-flushing mechanism requires just one push-on-the-purge to clear away all dirt or to purge water. The regulator mechanism is a simple, yet reliable classic downstream demand valve. Air 2 is equipped with a larger hi-comfort ergonomic mouthpiece; soft second-stage cover, and one-button purge function. The regulator's pre-tuned system is housed in a precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer case for strength and durability. The demand valve is chrome plated brass with a stainless-steel spring and a silicone rubber diaphragm and exhaust valve. The Air 2 comes with a 3/8" threaded 27.56" (70 cm) high-flow low-pressure hose and an owner's manual.
