    Description

    Here is an old ornate sterling silver spoon, to commemorate Ft. Dearborn Illinois.  The spoon has an ornate design with a flower near top, and the words CHICAGO running down the stem; the bowl is engraved with a design showing an Indian and Ft. Dearborn, with the words Ft. Dearborn. 1830.  The back is marked STERLING and is hallmarked with the Watson Company emblems of a crown, the letter W, and a lion.  Length ~ 5", weight 17.08 grams, Vintage used, has tarnish and toning from age, with luster shining through, no physical damage that I can see.  This will make a nice addition to your collection.
