…… This 6” by 7 ¾” original Oil Painting was done by Ewing Flying Iron who was chief of the Sioux Nation in Montana during the early 20th century. You can find examples of his original paintings on the net. On the back of this painting is an original label that reads, “Original Sketch by Ewing Flying Iron, American Indian Artist, Sioux Tribe, Montana, USA. Subject- Indian Log Shack. Seneca Indian, Tonawanda Seneca Reservation, Akron, New York.” This label crumbled into 3 pieces after the photo of it was taken but I managed to piece it back together and tape it together to save it so that should last another 100 years. This painting is in perfect condition and come in its original 7 ½” by 9 ½” frame. …… Check out my
