Description
Very limited edition lithograph, this is #1 of only 5, shows Nathan Olney's great grandmother looking in sorrow at the incoming ships. Nathan Olney is descendant of his great grandfather's namesake, who married a Yakima Indian chiefs daughter. Google Nathan Olney for some interesting reading on his great grand dad's story. Anyway, lithograph measures 16 1/2" wide and 10" tall. As matted measurements are 19 1/2" wide and 15 1/2" tall. Going to ship without frame and glass for lithograph safety. In pencil is written by Olney "Great Grand Mother Saw Them Come" signed 1/5 Olney 1973. Also has inscription on back in Olney's hand - with his name, address at the time, price, and signature. The biography is his great grandfather, Nathan Olney, is very interesting reading. Early northwest settler with significant contributions - worth a google search!is added in shipping calculator to help cover cost of Packing materials.
