    Description

    Set of four very nice lithographs of Navajo sand paintings from Bureau of Ethnology 8th Annual Report 1886-1887.
    They are from the article “Ceremonial of Hasjelti Dailjis and Mythical Sand Painting of the Navajo Indians” by James Stevenson, pages 229-285 in the 8th Annual Report of the Bureau of Ethnology, 1886-7, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
    First Sand Painting: 7.5” x 11”, Frame: 8.5” x 11”
    Second, Third and Fourth Sand Paintings: 11” x 14” with the frame the same size.
    All in very good condition.  Nos 2-4 have a center fold from being in the book.
    They are currently framed in very inexpensive frames.  They will be shipped UNFRAMED.  The shipping price reflects unframed shipment.  If you really want the frames, let me know and we will work it out.
